2020 was a year unlike any other, and college student move-in was no exception.
Sweepers assisted thousands of college students across more than 10 college campuses in six states to move into their dorms and apartments.
The move-in logistics were unprecedented, with covid restrictions, workers unavailable, and new requirements such as social distancing and wearing personal protective gear. We also debuted creative technology including tracking items in a digital inventory system and video calling with residents.
Sweepers provided such excellent service for one vendor, they even flew workers to New York City to complete a project at a student housing facility. We also completed projects in College Station Texas, the Washington DC area, Statesboro Georgia, and in more locations. In our biggest project, over 25 Sweepers worked a Duke University in Durham, North Carolina for several weeks preparing for student move-in.
Through it all, hundreds of Sweepers provided reliable service and adapted quickly to changing circumstances.
