Sweeps was proud to partner with Moses Cone Hospital to provide assistance at their Women's Only 5k Walk & Run.
Originally scheduled for September, the event was delayed to early November after inclement weather. The reschedule worked out fine, and the event ended up being a tremendos success. As an aside, one of the reasons to use Sweeps is our flexibility around scheduling, even allowing for last-minute changes to job timing, locations, or scope.
Sweeps was tasked with having six workers on Saturday and Sunday to help facilitate logistics at the event. Tasks included setting up tables and chairs, trash detail, loading and unloading exhibitor supplies, stage decorating and other duties as assigned by the race director.
Having the help of a dedicated event staff made the event go a lot more smoothly. Employees of Moses Cone Hospital were able to focus on their key duties, while leaving the menial tasks to the helpful and willing Sweepers. Particularly after an event, when the festivities are over but there is still a lot to do, having some extra hands can be a major relief.
