Sweeps Guarantee

Sweeps guarantees the services of Sweepers in the form of a reimbursement of up to sixty cents per pound ($0.60/lb) per damaged item caused by Sweepers where the services are transacted through the Sweeps Platform (up to a maximum of $500 per transaction). Please note that the Sweeps Guarantee is not insurance and is not value based. Certain restrictions and limitations apply.*

*The Sweeps Guarantee does not apply to, and excludes, any of the following transactions, circumstances and items (coverage under the Sweeps Guarantee is at the sole and exclusive discretion of Sweeps): 

• Transactions occurring off Platform (ie, where payment of any amount is not transacted through the Sweeps Platform);
• Contributory damage (ie, where any portion of the damage is caused in part or in whole by a non-Sweeper;
• Jobs that are not properly supervised or items that are not properly protected including, without limitation, moving pads, wraps and coverings;
• Damage resulting from services that are not clearly detailed in a job posting;
• Damage resulting from normal wear and tear including, without limitation, packing, unpacking, moving, transporting or relocating items;
• Ancillary damage caused by packing, unpacking, moving, transporting or relocating items including, without limitation, nicks, dents or scratches to paint, walls, doors, door frames, stairs, stairwells, flooring, furniture or other items or areas that may be reasonably expected 
• Ancillary damage resulting from occurrences that are reasonably foreseen including, without limitation, moving large items through small doorways and moving bulky items through narrow staircases;
• Services ordinarily performed by professionals including, without limitation, roofs, trees, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, appliance installations (ie, washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc.)
• Items packed, unpacked, moved, transported or relocated by non-Sweepers;
• Items with pre-existing damage or repairs of any kind including, without limitation damaged items that have been repaired or replaced prior to resolution with Sweeps;
• Damage caused by forces or reasons outside of Sweeps’ control including, without limitation, any Acts of God, force majeure events and third-party actions or omissions;
• Items deemed irreplaceable, highly valuable, rare and collectible including, without limitation, antiques, one-of-a kind and artwork;
• Large or oversized items including, without limitation, pianos, organs, pool tables, exercise equipment, tanning beds, televisions, lawn mowers, pressure washers, electronics; 
• Vehicles and automobiles of any kind including, without limitation mopeds, ATVs, lawn mowers, motorcycles, cars, trucks, tractors, trailers; 
• Dangerous items including, without limitation, guns, gun safes, ammunition, fireworks, propane tanks, grills; 
• Jobs involving live animals or animal enclosures such as fish tanks and aquariums.
• Damage to tools or equipment provided by non-Sweepers.
• Furniture made from inexpensive materials including, without limitation items that are assembled or disassembled or otherwise made from particleboard;
• Items made from natural, stone or composite materials such as marble or slate;
• Real property including, without limitation, pavers, sidewalks, driveways, lawns, sod, landscaping, sprinklers;
