This policy is not insurance and is not value based. Sweeps is not liable for damages involving contributory negligence, pre-existing damages, work other than the Job(s) contracted for, or that are the result of normal wear and tear or forces outside Sweeps’ control such as an Act of God, or items packed or transported by a third-party. Sweeps is also not liable for and cannot insure items in transit, any irreplaceable, highly valuable, or collectible items; including but not limited to pianos, organs, pool tables, exercise equipment, tanning beds, gun safes and antiques; and is also not responsible for any damage resulting from these items. Sweeps will also not be responsible for televisions and other electronics as they are not verified to be in a working condition before beginning the job. Sweeps will also not be liable for any damage to or resulting from moving items that are made from inexpensive materials or that are assembled or disassembled and may break even when handled correctly, such as particle-board or similar furniture, and vinyl flooring. Sweeps will also not be liable for damage to items when proper protection such as moving pads and floor coverings are not provided by the Customer. Sweeps will also not be liable for any damages to, or resulting from, equipment such as lawn mowers, pressure washers, motorcycles, or vehicles. Sweeps will not be liable for any minor nicks, dents, or scratches to paint, walls, doors, flooring, furniture, or other items that may be expected as part of completion of services. In the event that there is damage to wooden floors or furniture, Sweeps will repair the local area only, and will not be responsible for resurfacing or refinishing the entire area, or exactly matching the pre-services condition. Sweeps will not be liable for damage to any natural, stone or composite materials such as marble or slate. Sweeps will also not be liable for any damages resulting from occurrences that cannot be avoided, such as moving large items through a small doorway or bulky items through a narrow staircase. Sweeps will also not be liable for damages to real property such as paved areas, sidewalks, and driveways, and lawns, landscaping, and sprinklers. Sweeps will also not be liable for damages in events where a professional is required, such as roof work, tree work, electrical work or plumbing, including all appliance installations such as washers and dryers and dishwashers. Sweeps will also not be liable for any damages that have been repaired or replaced prior to filing or resolving a claim with Sweeps. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SWEEPS’ AGGREGATE LIABILITY, IN ANY FORM OF ACTION WHATSOEVER IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF THE SERVICES OR THE SITE, EXCEED $500. All use of Sweeps must be in compliance with Sweeps' Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
