Consistently rated as one of people's very least favorite thing to do, it is no surprise that moving has become Sweeps' most requested category.

Moving can encompass a broad category of services, from moving a rug within the home to moving a household across the country. With hundreds of mostly college students and recent grads at the ready, Sweeps can lend a (strong) set of hands for your moving project.

While we do not provide large moving trucks or offer full-service moving, we can provide pickup trucks and trailers and can assist on a wide variety of moves. Some of the more popular moving jobs include:

• Assembly / Disassembly: Ikea Furniture, home furniture, item hanging, etc.
• Containers and Pods:  loading / Unloading.
• Events: event setup and takedown such as at concerts or conferences,
• Exercise Equipment Moving: treadmills, ellipticals, etc.
• Furniture and Item Delivery: from local stores or online purchase from Craigslist and other sites.
• Hauling: junk removal, garage and attic organization and item removal, demolition, to the landfill or thrift stores.
• Home Staging: real estate transactioms often have lots of moving related work to do.
• In-Home Moves: rearranging furniture, carpet/rug moving, etc.
• Large Item Moving: we have moved all kinds of things from phone booths to chicken coops.
• Large Move-ins: college student move-ins, apartment complex moving days, etc.
• Loading and Unloading Trucks: loading in one location and unloading in another, or just loading or unloading.
• Local Moving: with pickup trucks, or loading and unloading a moving truck that you provide.
• Office Moving: moving within an office or to a new location.
• Pre-Move Work: packing, organizing, labeling.
