I am a respectful, industrious, and motivated 25 year old grad student at NCSU. I grew up in New Bern, NC, and am an avid outdoorsman and nature geek. I received by BS in Biology from UNC-CH in 2011 and worked for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission for the past 3 years. In January, I began a MS thesis research assistantship in the Cooperative Fisheries and Wildlife Unit under the Department of Applied Ecology at North Carolina State University.
2+ years moving experience with a reputable moving company in the Raleigh area (All-American). Have also moved myself and others many (10+) times in the past 7 years. I am in good physical shape and able to lift heavy loads.
As social chair of a fraternity house, I was tasked with the planning & logistics of several large scale social events.
Several Years experience with Tarheel Tree Techs, a tree service company, which included several large scale yard work projects. Also held a summer job on the grounds maintenance team at River Bend Golf Course in New Bern (jobs included mowing, edging, hedge trimming, weed whacking, raking, fertilizing, watering, general maintenance of equipment.
Have some experience tutoring in introductory biology classes. Comfortable tutoring in biology & chemistry courses.
Experience with network support with Techs Without Borders Club, 20+ hours with Cramden Institute; general knowledge of basic computer hardware/software maintenance. Some programming knowledge (python, java, SAS, R)
