I am a tarheel senior who loves the outdoors, people, and a good adventure. My faith is important to me and I work to serve God in everything that I do. Currently I am working towards going to grad school to be a prosthetist. I love the idea of a career that uses innovative thinking and new technology to help give people their livelihood back.

Groups

This year I am planning to spend most of my free time shadowing prosthetic practitioners in the area to gain more experience in the field. In conjunction with this I hope to continue working with Helping Hands which designs and 3D prints hands for children in need. I am also co-director of the Global Circle in the Campus Y which works to educate and train other on-campus organizations to conduct service abroad in a more ethical and sustainable way.

Categories

Moving

I am not the strongest person and should probably hit the gym before I claim to be good at heavy lifting. However, packing boxes is my forte!. I love organizing and sorting and making sure things fit correctly. If someone needs assistance packing their house into boxes, I'm the girl for the job.

Cleaning

I grew up in a household where no fun was had until my room and bathroom were clean. My mom would walk through and inspect my efforts carefully. It taught me how to clean well and now I'm able to put those skills to good use!

Events

I've helped plan weddings, run workshops, plan trips abroad for others, and even coached a soccer team!

Tutoring

I have spent a lot of my time at UNC working with various tutoring organizations. I even spent time abroad teaching and tutoring! I love working with kids and helping them excel in their studies, but I also would enjoy working with college students or adults.

Painting

In the past I've painted bathrooms, new baby nurseries, tables and lots of baseboards. I'm prepared to take on any painting needs!

Tech

As a biomedical engineering major, I've learned a lot about technology! I've taken classes on computer programming and electronics, but most importantly I've learned how to troubleshoot and problem solve so even if I am not familiar with the specific technology/problem, I feel confident that I will be able to figure it out!

Odd Jobs

I'm creative and love a challenge. Odd requests are the best kind of jobs.
