University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill,
My name is Jimmy Petrongelli and I'm from Jacksonville, NC. I'm currently a sophomore biology major with a double minor in chemistry and medical anthropology here at UNC-Chapel Hill. I come from a family of military men and women; primarily my dad, who served 29 years in the USMC. I am a NC certified EMT and I'm pursuing a career in the Navy as a flight surgeon. I love the outdoors and spend most of my free time outside, or with my family of three older sisters and a younger brother.
- Founder of the UNC chapter of Wine to Water- North Carolina Certified EMT- Manager at the United Service Organization Center in Jacksonville, NC. - Previous employee of Noble Roman's Pizza- North Carolina Xi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon
My father was a Marine so we have moved multiple times. I have three older sisters which I have also assisted moving in and out of their residences/dorms/apartments on multiple occasions.
Growing up in a large family I have spent many a times cleaning the house with my siblings. My work experience at the USO and Noble Roman's Pizza was directly relating to cleaning the store every night.
I have set up for many events throughout my life from family weddings to graduation parties. With my time at the USO I have set up numerous events for military homecomings and philanthropy events.
My house resides on over two acres and growing up I was responsible for maintaining our lawn with my siblings. I also spend my summers working for a landscaping company where I have done everything from sod and mowings, to roof repairs.
Along with the experience I have moving around growing up; we have repainted different houses on multiple occasions.
I consider myself highly cooperative, able to function well in a team environment, and respond well to supervisor's instruction as well as the ability to work independently. I have plenty of familiarly with general carpentry skills.
