What is Sweeps?
Sweeps is the best way to hire college students. Customers post hourly work, internships, and full-time work (see careers page) with Sweeps daily, and these jobs are broadcasted by email and text message to Sweepers. Any Sweeper that wants the job replies back, and the highest ranked Sweeper that replies back is awarded the job.
What is the process to getting work with Sweeps?
1. Apply Online
2. Once approved, pass a quiz and submit a video interview
3. Once approved join our texting and email groups
5. Get to work!
What are the hours?
Up to you. We broadcast jobs to Sweepers based on location and skill. If you want to work, you reply back and we will let you know if you are awarded the job. There is no penalty to working sparingly, and you only compete for the jobs you want.
How are jobs awarded?
Heavily based upon your Sweeper Ranking, also room for other variables like equipment, availability, and experience. For example a gift-wrapping job was awarded to a new Sweeper whose mother used to own a gift wrapping store!
What is the pay?
See Sweeper Payment article in forum. Average between $14-$15 per hour.
Do I need to be a college student?
Apply to see if you qualify.
How do I get paid?
Biweekly directly into your bank account. See Sweeper Payment article in forum.
What internships are available?
Internship responsibilities include marketing, recruiting, finance, PR, social media and more. If you’re interested in working in a startup, this is a great opportunity to learn and get school credit if you need it. The Sweeps Ambassadors program is also a great option to get paid for spreading the word.
Do I need supplies or equipment?
No. If you have supplies that a customer requests such as dollies or a lawn mower that will aid your chances of being selected for the job. Sweeps has some equipment available for rent. See our Sweeper Equipment Page.
